The expert talk on “Recent Advancements in Optical Communication” and “Research Opportunities in Optical Field” was organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department on 12th August, 2022 by Dr. Rajandeep Singh, Assistant Professor, GNDU Amritsar and Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, Assistant Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala, respectively. Both the speakers are Alumni of ECE Department, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana of Batch 2005-2009

Dr. Rajandeep Singh shared his expertise on the recent advancements that has happened in the optical communication and also shared the views on the research that he has carried out in the field of optics. Dr. Ramandeep Kaur presented her views on various opportunities for research that optical field has to offer. A total of 15 participants of ECE department attended the same.
